How to use Mockups
Sometimes a good quality mockup is all you need to strike your brand.
A step-by-step guide to use our mockups.
Look. for the required mockup
Add. your artwork
Open the PSD/TIF/TIFF file of the mockup, and you will find elements labeled with proper names and differentiated from one another by color. Although the mockup files may differ from one another, we have developed a uniform pattern and process to make it easy for you to use.
Highlight and shadow
Once you go in a particular group of layers you will find sub-layers of it named as highlight and shadow. Highlight and shadow are the layers from where you can control the light intensity and the photorealism of the object.
Color
In the same group of layers, you will find a layer name color from where you can control the color of the object as per your requirement.
Drop shadow
It is an optional thing and if you don’t require it you can off the layer.
Smart layer
There will be a group of a layer provided as per the object from where you can place your artwork by double clicking on it. You can easily paste or insert your artwork and it will be ready to use. This layer also contains highlight and shadow to control the light intensity and the photorealism of the object.
In some mockups, you will find 3 options for your label finishes. Metallic, glossy, and matte. You can simply use any of it as per your requirement.
